Our History
Naylor Mechanical Services has a long history of which we are extremely proud.
The company was originally founded in Pudsey in 1885 under the name Scarth and Naylor. It later became Naylor and Son named after Mr Fred Naylor and his son Joe.
In 1980, the business was incorporated into the Wood Mitchell Group and in 1988 moved to more modern premises with over 20 employees.
In 2015, the business began to struggle and that’s when Dynamic Holdings Group Ltd stepped in. Rather than simply take over the business, they incorporated it as part of the Dynamic Group but registered it as a distinct limited company: Naylor Mechanical Services Ltd.
This move allowed the company to remain as a separate entity and retain its wonderful heritage and excellent reputation within Pudsey and the surrounding areas.
Our People
Since the business was first established more than a century ago, our people have been the driving force behind building our reputation for excellence.
To this day, we still retain the original principles set out by the founders; professionalism, integrity and reliability.
Our commitment to our people is reflected in the dedication and passion they have for their work.
We have a number of qualified, skilled professionals on our team but we also invest in young people who show a keen enthusiasm for learning a trade. We believe that working with us teaches them more than just an occupation. They learn how to deliver exceptional customer service, excel in health and safety standards and provide the attention to detail that sets us apart.
Paul Clough, now a manager, has been with us since leaving school when he started out as an apprentice. He is now leading new apprentices, helping them gain the same work ethic that he learnt all those years ago.

Our Safety Standards
Health and safety is a priority for us. We dedicate large resources to ensuring we excel in this area.
Our focus on health and safety raises our professional standards, improves site safety and protects our people.
Our employees undergo strict training both internally and with external specialist companies. All senior engineers and directors undertake the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
We have an independent consultant who audits our health and safety policies and makes recommendations, notifications and updates to documentation as well as keeping us informed about current legislation.
We are fully accredited by CHAS and SafeContractor and exceed the requirements of the MCG Health and Safety Charter.
Our commitment to health and safety has resulted in us maintaining an exemplary safety record since our incorporation.
